We had like a handbook, with guidelines and the principal at the time was like my enemy. And I would always try to make her mad and take her down in different ways. So I read the handbook one night and I realized there was no rule against facial hair, coz it’s not in the handbook so. I called everyone in my class the night before and I convinced them all to wear a mustache to school, and I did so as well, and everyone agreed to do it. And we showed up at school, everyone had different kinds of facial hair on, like uni-brows and beards and mustache; it looks weird because we’re in uniform you know. and everyone was really scared because the teachers started yelling at them, “take those off, that’s not allowed” and I kept saying like “it is allowed everyone, be strong. This is not illegal, keep the mustaches on.” And I think around lunch time I was the only one left with a mustache, and I remember walking into the cafeteria and everyone was clapping and then I got called up to the principals office. And then she just demanded that I take it off, and then eventually she gave me a detention that said ‘failure to remove mustache when asked.
